So we have been in Arizona for 4 1/2 days...Stony wants to move here. It is so nice being warm. It is great going out at night and being able to wear shorts. Ice cream is still appealing. Having our windows down in the truck is still enjoyable. And of course...being at the lake is still an option. In Colorado, we would be bundled up, probably have a fire, and heating our car up before we drive off... I doubt we will actually move, but the thought is fun knowing how warm it is...now...but to me, it is very unappealing in the summer. Anything over 85 is too hot for me!
Yesterday we tried a different lake, Saguaro Reservoir. It also is aptly named with lots of saguaro cactus every where. The water was warmer than Canyon Lake. Kizzy had a great time feeding the ducks. It is surprising how quickly 100 ducks can show up at the side of your boat when there were only 4 to start with.
Here are a couple videos of Stony and I doing "tricks." We aren't great yet...we saw one guy yesterday doing flips on his board. But we have fun and that is the best part.
