Crazy Fun Life

You know, I like to blog. But sometimes I am just no good at keeping up. Ever since Thanksgiving, SO much has happened. Most of it, I would love to write about and share pictures, but I barely have time to even get on the computer. I guess that is a good thing. Someday I will catch up...maybe...except that this is December and December is always busy! I guess I don't have to write about everything! So I just changed my mind...here is a quick, catch-up...

Thanksgiving was great! We spent the morning/afternoon with Stony's family. The kids love him because he is just a big kid too. That always makes things fun. And his brother Joe, makes the best turkey I have ever eaten! Then we spent the afternoon/evening with my family. Its a little more calm there, but still just as fun! A few hands of cards and a glass of wine are a fantastic way to end the day.

Our nephew, Aymin turned 3 the day after Thanksgiving. We waited until Monday and then we all went to Bounce. That place is great! You pay for the kids and the adults get in free. Plus, we were the only ones there and the owner "turns his back" so that we can do whatever we want--totally break the rules. We are all a bunch of big kids that like to jump, and climb and slide...2 hours and TONS of fun!

Kizzy had so much fun decorating my mom's Christmas tree last year (and mom had so much fun with her there) that we decided to invite her to help us again this year. (She asks us every time we are at my parents if we can decorate the tree that day.) After every ornament she says, "That's perfect. It looks beautiful." Her favorite job is putting "the girl on top." Steph and Alyssa were there too. Alyssa was really into the lights, but she had to go play with Grandpa...the ornaments are not toys. =)

Stony and his brother JJ were in a car accident on Wednesday. It was a little scary. It had just snowed and most of the canyon was ice. They were going up a hill and Stony stepped on the gas to keep the momentum and the truck started fish-tailing and then they did a 180. He said they were only gong about 25, thankfully! But they hit the rock wall, and broke the back axel. JJ's neck and shoulders were a little sore but other than that they were both fine. It kinda sucks, but we just keep thanking God for His protection of them. It very easily could have been so much worse! Now we are just waiting for the insurance adjuster to tell us if they are going to total the truck or pay to fix it.

Christmas baking is tomorrow. We love that day! Its full of family and sugar. I think sometimes the husbands could do without it, but they always put on a smile and roll out cookie dough and stir hot carmels. They are so good.
