Skittles

You know the slogan skittles has: “Taste the Rainbow”

That is what I have been doing all day...all week really. God is giving me these skittles of joy and I am just eating them up! (He probably gives these to me every day, but my hand is not outstretched so they all just fall on the ground and I don’t even notice.) A silly word from Deacon. A good snuggle with Kizzy. A backrub from my husband. Two calm dogs in one night (trust me, that is a couple skittles!). Seeing a woman walking up the street waving her praise flag and praying as she walks. A group of older women serving the church and spreading joy. A higher call from a pastor. A kind word from someone. An awesome family. A chance to bless people…… All these skittles.

 I wish the color didn’t come off the skittles when you hold them in your hand cuz I’d like to hold all these skittles and just remember them and all their colors. But that is not what they are for. They are for enjoying. So…I’m going to keep enjoying my skittles. I hope you get to taste the rainbow today!
