Jumping and Answered Prayers

I am jumping out of my skin right now.  God is SO good.  This is a long story...here is the shortest version possible...

Stony has been unemployed for a month.  We planned on a month, mentally but not financially.  So the last few weeks I have been stressing out! (I pay the bills.)

I have been praying a lot and God knows exactly when to provide.

We started sending out resumes and visiting places on Monday.  Stony told me he was nervous because being rejected hurts his ego and self-confidence (I totally understand that).

Stony and I have been praying a lot for this process.

Stony got 2 job offers in the last 2 days.  I am so excited for him!

This also means we are jumping into new things and now praying for direction.  We know God is in this.  He started both jobs today.  The first one he really liked.  I'm still waiting for him to come home from the second one.

The first job is at a grill 25 minutes from home.  It is a morning, part-time, year-round position with the potential for more hours and a possible management position.  Yesterday the owner told him it would just be weekends.  Today when Stony got ready to leave, Allen (owner) asked him if he would also work Tuesday and Wednesday nights.  Woohoo!  That is the one we are both excited about!

The second is at a wine bar just 7 minutes from home.  There is potential for more hours, bu not anytime soon.  And they started him at minimum wage.  I'm anxious to hear how his night went.

Either way, Stony has a job and for that we are SO grateful!
