30 Days of Me-Day 1

I have missed blogging.  And I have missed reading my friends' blogs!  So...to get me back in the "groove"  I am taking a friend's idea.  She blogged "30 Days of Me".  So I took her 30 days and I am filling it out for me. 

Day 1--a recent picture of me and 15 interesting facts about me.

1. I am a 5th generation Estes Parkian and the 4th generation to graduate from EPHS
2. I don't like chocolate, unless there is a lot of peanut butter with it
3. I would eat peanut butter with almost anything
4. I've always had long hair, but decided I wanted to try it short. I was scared to cut it and needed some motivation.  I decided to donate it to Locks of Love...and ended up cutting off 17 inches
5. My sister is my favorite person to hang out with (besides my husband)
6.  I am still friends with at least 6 people who I was friends with in high school
7. I like playing some video games with Stony
8. I learned to look people in the when I talk to them, from a boy I had a crush on in 8th grade
9. I used to pretend I was a race car driver when I would drive up the Big Thompson Canyon from Loveland to Estes. My personal best time is 19.5 minutes
10. I still wait tables in the summer at the restaurant where I started waiting tables 17 years ago
11. I like washing clothes; I hate putting them away
12. If it weren't for my rice cooker, I would not be able to make rice
13. I often talk to myself
14. I usually let spiders live in my house because they are one of God's creatures.  But I always make a deal with them (so yes, I talk to them too). The deal is: they can live in my house as long as they don't interfere with my life. They cannot go in my shower, on my kitchen counter, or in my bed. And I can take their web anytime I want. If they don't like the deal, they can go live outside. If they break the deal, they die
15. I LOVE being an aunt
