Volleyball

Tonight was our first practice with just our team.  Varsity, JV and C teams have all been practicing together until tonight.  And tonight was fun.  I got to run my own practice, talk to my own girls, and get to know them and see just them on the court.  I am so excited for this season!  I know Jeff (the head coach) said they need a lot of work, but I think they all have a lot of potential.  Our first game is next Thursday.  I think they have the potential to get really nervous and let the other team intimidate them, but they also have the potential to work really well together and play a great game.  We practice all together tomorrow, but I am already excited about our next individual team practice.

Oh, and my high school volleyball coach just emailed all the girls she used to coach.  She is organizing a volleyball reunion/tournament at the end of September.  She has been talking about it for years and finally is doing it.  The tournament will be 4 on 4.  My team is already set.  I'm excited about this volleyball event too!
