Yesterday was our first day out on the lake. It is kind of late this year, but it has been so rainy and cold, this was really the first good Monday we could get out. And it was SO nice to be out! My camera is broken (grrr) or I would have a few pictures. We took Joe's 3 kids and the 2 older ones actually got in the water with the wakeboard attached to their feet. This is a big deal because 2 years ago, they were both so scared of the lake and the water that they just cried the whole time...literally cried the whole time. It was awful. One time Madison decided the tube looked fun and she could be brave and she really wanted to try it. So we put her on it, let the slack in the rope out and started moving forward (at about 2 mph) and she started screaming so hard that she gave herself a bloody nose. That's the 2 older kids. So the fact that they got in the water, much less with the wakeboard, was huge!
We were only out for about 3 hours; we each only took 1 run; and today my shoulders and traps are so so sore.
But we were on the lake! Hooray!
